New to Wick Water on this unseasonal hot April day, Paul Williams from Swindon continued to demonstrate his skills by catching several Carp & keeping me captivated by his attention to detail. As fast as they were coming in, bait was going back in the lake. Careful removal of a previous hook left in a fish, maybe by a snapped line or just carelessness was instantly treated with ointment and the fish was back on his way. As I left the lake I said how many have you caught, a quick count of the stones on the bait box lid, 14 so far. I’m sure there were many more……….
